Taking the Next Step - the first appointment and counselling and psychotherapy fees in Lincoln.
The first step is to arrange an initial appointment with me. This can be done by email. This appointment will enable you to meet me, ask any questions you have, and decide whether I am someone you feel comfortable working with. It also gives me the opportunity to explore, with you, the issues that have led you to make this appointment, and to take a brief personal history from you, about your experiences and relationships, so that, together, we can see whether psychotherapy, or counselling, might be useful for you.
The initial appointment lasts up to an hour and a quarter. There is no pressure to make up your mind, then and there. I will suggest that you go away, and think, about it, before deciding whether to enter psychotherapy, or counselling, with me.
To set up this appointment, please let me know whether there are any days/times you cannot manage.
My fees are as follows:
Initial Appointment: £50
Ongoing Fees : £50-£70 , for a 50 min appointment. My clients choose the fee they wish to pay within that scale.
I accept payment, either on the day of the appointment, or monthly in advance, by cash, or bank transfer. Online sessions, Zoom are charged, monthly, in advance.
My fees for supervision are £60 per fifty minutes. I am a UKCP and UPCA registered supervisor.
